Our Kaipara Harbour and Northland Tour will take you to Kaipara’s sandy bars and beaches. There are thought to be around 154 wrecks on the coast; only some of which have been recovered from their gravely graves. The Kauri Coast also supplies 90% of the country’s kumara crop. The Kaipara District has widened its repertoire to grow produce such as figs, olives, avocado and raising deer for venison. Hokianga harbour remains a relatively untouched land of contrasts from lush kauri forests, sun burnt sand dunes and clam harbour waters to surf breaks on the sand bar with its own subtropical micro climate. Paihia has become a tourist mecca over the years and is also a place of significance history with the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.
