want to see the South Island in it's entirety, then this is the tour
for you. From the Top to the Bottom of the South Island even

Day Bottom of the South Island Tour – April 25 – May 10, from

The 16 Day Bottom of the South Island Tour starts and
finishes in Christchurch and as the name suggests takes in the
bottom half of the South Island including the West Coast and the
Fiordland National Park, Invercargill and Dunedin. Current Availablity: 10+ seats 9 Day Top of the South – May 8 - May 16 , from $1995. If you want a shorter tour to experience the top of the South Island then this is the tour for you. From Christchurch to the West Coast then to Nelson. This tour includes 8 nights quality accommodation, daily breakfasts, and 5 dinners, & sights include: Christchurch City, Akaroa, Punakaiki, Westport, Denniston/Karamea, Nelson, Golden Bays, and cruising Cook Strait from Picton to Wellington. Our first train journey is actually in the North Island travelling on the Overlander from Auckland & Hamilton to Wellington. Our next train journey is the Tranz Coastal from Picton to Christchurch, then the Tranz Alpine from Christchurch to Greymouth, then Shanty Towns own steam train, and our last train journey is the Taieri Gorge Train in Dunedin. With lots of sightseeing in between train journeys this will be a great experience. Current Availablity: 10+ seats 6 Day Explore Stewart Island - October 11 - 16, from $1395.00. Arriving in Invercargill you will be transferred to your Invercargill accommodation. The next day we cross Foveaux Strait to Stewart Island, to begin our 'Exploration'. Our tour includes a Village & Bays afternoon tour, Paterson Inlet Cruise, Guided Walk on Ulva Island, A semi-submersible cruise on the Mollymawk enjoying the diverse marine life within Halfmoon Bay, a guided walk to Little River. There is also the opportunity to go Kiwi Spotting in the evening and to mix and mingle with the locals within the restaurants that we will be dining in during our 3 nights on Stewart Island. On Day 5 we return to Invercargill for another night back on the 'Mainland', then return you to the airport to connect with your outbound flight. (flight costs are not included in tour price). Overlander from Auckland and points in between we arrive in
Wellington. Crossing Cook Strait we then board our second
train Journey from Picton to Christchurch on board the
TranzCoastal. The TranzAlpine takes us from the Garden City to
the Wild West Coast over the Southern Alps. We enjoy 3 nights
in Queenstown, during which time we travel into Milford Sounds on a
day trip. This tour offers you flexibility with departures
daily, with departures available every Friday during the year.
