We just had to write to tell you what a wonderful New Zealand tour we have had with Clem your driver and Paul the tour guide. We have seen so many places and experienced the cultural and scenic diversity of both islands.
Clem and Paul had a fantastic knowledge of New Zealand history, which they imparted with enthusiasm.
Their friendly and professional approach ensured we had a good and safe holiday.
Even with a few hiccups they remained calm and organised to enable us to continue with our enjoyable holiday.
Their concern for their passengers was always paramount.
We would just like to thank them and to let you know because of their care we had a really unforgettable experience of New Zealand, wonderful ambassadors for your company and Country.
On the 5 day bus trip “Gisborne Say Put”, I loved every day with our experienced Tour host and driver, Les. He could talk about anything and included some humour.
The people on the tour were a nice bunch; the scenery was fantastic, the hotel accommodation and food was excellent and even the weather was good.
A great little holiday I would recommend to anyone who wants to take a trip with Leisure Time.
We found Ashleigh to be most helpful, gracious and very organised. She was extremely pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble; we enjoyed her company and hosting and found the entire tour to be enjoyable, very good value and a worthwhile experience.
We would be more than happy to attend any future tours that are of interest to us and would be very pleased to have Ashleigh as our Tour Leader again at any time.
Special thanks to driver John Andrew, who turned up in plenty of time, backed the bus expertly into the car park at the Link and was unfailingly good-humoured, patient and obliging throughout the whole day.
It was a great day for everyone who took part. I’d recommend Leisure Time Tours to anyone.
Clem and Paul are to be commended, they were very knowledgeable, and nothing was too much trouble for them; I think that I now know everything that can be known about NZ and NZ farming!
The itinerary was very busy – with early starts and late finishes – but enjoyable. The majority of the hotels were of a high-standard. Probably would have liked more time in some of the places that we stayed, but I appreciate that we wouldn’t have seen so much within the timescale if this was the case.
We all loved New Zealand – the people, the weather, the laid-back attitude, the culture, the ecology; I was always led to believe that New Zealand, and the people, were decades behind us, however, in many respects I would say that you are more advanced. I like the “can-do” attitude of the Kiwis, and, based on your geographic isolation, that you strive to find a solution, and don’t necessarily follow other peoples’ ways of thinking. New Zealand’s views are spectacular, and even though the islands are relatively small, have many diverse landscapes and scenery.
