Bay of Islands Golf
Visit the Bay of Islands for a Golf Stay put. A coastline of golden beaches and rocky outcrops circles the stunningly beautiful Bay of Islands. Spend 1 day on Kauri Cliffs Golf Course, the par 72 championship golf course measures 7,139 yards / 6,528 metres and offers five sets of tees to challenge every skill level. Fifteen holes view the Pacific Ocean, six of which are played alongside cliffs which plunge to the sea. The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland. Play 18 holes at the award-winning Jack Nicklaus-designed Kinloch Club and play against the backdrop of stunning vistas and the crystal blue waters of Lake Taupo. Spend the next day on the world class championship course immersed in the natural beauty of a wildlife sanctuary at Wairakei Golf and Sanctuary, where you might be lucky enough to spot a dashing pheasant or wandering fallow deer.

Napier is located on the coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean and is the centre of the Hawkes Bay region known for its well-established vineyards and award winning wines. The main attractions are the wine tasting, touring the city itself as it is recognised as the Art Deco Capital of New Zealand, and excursions to the cliff top Gannet Colony at Cape Kidnappers. Napier Golf Club Inc “Waiohiki” is the oldest Golf Club in Hawke’s Bay established 1896, having celebrated its Centenary in 1996. Over the years it has been the site of many New Zealand and inter-provincial tournaments, in fact hosting the first ever New Zealand Open in 1907. Spend your next day at Cape Kidnappers Golf Course – With cliff-edge fairways perched 140 metres above sea level and with surface that remains firm and fast, this course offers holes unlike anything you find elsewhere in the world. While every hole has a spectacular view of the Bay, some play cautiously alongside deep ravines as others intimidate golfers with deep cliff top bunkers and sheer drops off the very edge of the earth.

Huka Lodge with fishing on Lake Taupo
A luxury fishing trip; two night’s accommodation at Huka Lodge including a private half-day Lake Taupo scenic cruise with trout fishing.
At 616-square kilometres, Lake Taupo is the landmass equivalent of Singapore. The lake’s attractive pumice sand beaches give it the appearance of an inland ocean and it offers excellent all year-round scenic lake cruises and fishing experiences.
Most fishing on the lake takes the form of trolling using either lures or flies, with the catch averaging around four pounds.
