Day 1 – ARRIVE AUCKLAND
Welcome to New Zealand! Meet and greet on arrival at Auckland International Airport before being transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 – AUCKLAND – HAMILTON – ROTORUA
Travelling through to Hamilton this morning, you will commence a number of technical visits to Agricultural related sites, as well as a Stud Farm visit and have lunch included, before heading to Rotorua.
Day 3 – ROTORUA – FIELDAYS – ROTORUA
Travel to Hamilton for your first days’ visit to the Fieldays, The largest farm show in the Southern Hemisphere, Fieldays is your chance to see New Zealand’s most innovative farming products and technology all in one place. Fieldays has over 1,000 exhibitors and attracts more than 130,000 visitors over four days. Attend a networking function, with the Fieldays Chairman before commencing your return travel to Rotorua.
Day 4 – ROTORUA – FIELDAYS – ROTORUA
Travel to Hamilton for your second days’ visit to Fieldays, the largest farm show in the Southern Hemisphere. This afternoon you return to Rotorua. Tonight we will be treated to a traditional Hangi (feast) and Maori concert.
Day 5 – ROTORUA – TAUPO – NAPIER
Departing Rotorua you travel via New Zealand’s largest pine tree forests to Taupo. En-route, you visit a couple of livestock properties, take in some geothermal site visits, including a lunch stop before you descend from the surrounding mountain ranges into the ‘Fruit Bowl’ of New Zealand, Hawkes Bay – and the city of Napier.
Day 6 – NAPIER – VINEYARD EXPERIENCES
Your morning is at leisure to explore Napier and its sights, featuring beautiful Art Deco buildings to give you an insight as to why Napier is known as the Art Deco capital of the world. This afternoon begin a wine trail, visiting Church Road & Cross Roads Winery. Tonight dine at Mission Estate Winery. Established in 1851, Mission Estate is New Zealand’s oldest winemaker. Over 150 years of experience and passion have culminated in the current collection of Mission Estate, Vineyard Selection, Reserve and Jewelstone award winning wines.
Day 7 – NAPIER – WELLINGTON
Today head south to Wellington where you will spend the rest of the day enjoying an informative sightseeing tour, including a visit to Te Papa, (Our Place) New Zealand’s National Museum. This afternoon is at leisure.
Day 8 – DEPART WELLINGTON
Farewell from New Zealand. Today you are transferred from the hotel to Auckland International Airport for your flight home.
