Warbirds Over Wanaka is famous for attracting a wide variety of privately owned Warbird aircraft along with their modern-day counterparts from the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF), Royal Australia Air Force (RAAF), United States Air Force (USAF) and French Air Force. While the aircraft are the main focus of the event, there are a lot of other displays on the ground which have made this show so successful over the past 33-years. Some of the aircraft already confirmed for the airshow are the Yak-52 aerobatic team, the Polikarpov 1-16, the RNZAF Helicopter NH90, RNZAF Hercules C130H and the RNZAF SSH-2G(I) Seasprite with many more to be announced closer to the date of the show.
